Hello and welcome! My name is Lisa B. I am a busy mother of 4, dedicated wife, and an active member of my community. My love of fitness began as a child, exercising along side my mother to the Billy Blanks “Tae-Bo” fitness series.
However, 5 years ago, I experienced a period of depression that left me feeling lost and led to a rapid weight gain of 30 lbs. I was living on autopilot and needed healing. It was a fusion of my faith into my fitness journey that elevated me mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally. My journey to healing sparked a deep desire within me to help others experience their own elevation. In order to elevate, you must W.E.R.K.
W.E.R.K. represents being Willing to Elevate by Renewing the mind and Killing every negative thought attempting to hinder your progress.
I continue to elevate by remembering 3 things; commitment cancels can’t, perseverance pushes past pain and faith fulfills the future.

When i joined Beyond Fitness my goal was to lose 20 lbs and become stronger and healthier. Although the scale has not moved as quickly as desired, the benefits reach further than the number on the scale. Training with Lisa has truly been that; beyond fitness. I can see me body transforming, I’m healthier and stronger mentally and physically! I found me again! I’m thankful to become part of the Beyond Fitness Family!
